Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. The titles for each section are 12 points, bold.
2. The main body of the text should be Calibri font, 11 points, with line spacing 1.15, and all text is ranged left.
3. Tables are also ranged left, with a caption in italics and a full-stop at the end of the caption.
4. All direct quotes quote, indent by one (1) cm from the left margin, apply for three lines in length or more.
5. Ideally, all images should be a minimum of 150 pixels per inch and a maximum of 300 pixels per inch.
6. All images, as well as figures and tables, should be ranged left to the margin of the Word document. 
7. For in-text citations and the list of references, please follow the APA 6th referencing style guide. Here is a useful link to assist you with this: https://aut.ac.nz.libguides.com/APA6th
8. Short papers should be between 3,000 and 3,500 words excluding the list of references (About 7 to 8 pages, A4 size).
9. Long papers should be between 5,000 and 5,500 words excluding the list of references (About 12 to 13 pages, A4 size).
