Our target group are students between the ages of 18 to 27, independent of gender, that study at Cyprus University of Technology. They come from different parts of Cyprus and from other countries. Some experience sexual harassment but most are not aware of it taking place on campus. For the students at the receiving end of such harassment, this experience can cause behavioural symptoms such as high levels of stress, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, loss of appetite, and they also develop negative suspicions towards other individuals and feel hopeless and powerless. In many cases they have no advice on how to handle this situation. They have no specialised support on campus to deal with this problem and often local authorities are not supportive, so they feel isolated and this impacts in a negative way their studies.
